I did something semi-crafty!
I made a chore chart!
I decided to not color them cause my kids were so anxious to have their chore chart done(my color printer was out of ink). I cut the ones out that I wanted to use and used packing tape on the front and back to give them the "laminated look" (and so they'd last more than a few days with little kiddos). I put magnets on the backs. Then I got ribbon and put magnets on the backs of those to make little divider areas. I printed off my kids names in fun different fonts and "fake laminated" them. And voila!
Then I have a baggie with the extra chores that are not needed for the day. There's also a picture for reading time and for homework so we get those in too! I still need to add more and am always on the lookout for pictures I need, but this was a good start! Plus I can re-arrange it to add kid #5 to it when she's old enough!
Easy to make!
Kids love having a chore chart they can "read"!
Win Win!
(My 2 oldest can read, but do love this anyway!)
